just a word too say (except for beautiful image :)) that colors problem are less annoying if you work in sRGB than in AdobeRBG :)

:iconjkrab:

that didn't solve the problem for me :| somehow a screenshot (with mac) works when I upload..

maybe it's because Mac has a very peculiar gamma (very clear) and we all know the hassle it is to calibrate a screen
i've read from another deviant that his solution for the same problem was to use export for the web in photoshop (tried it without real success for me but may be it's worth a try)
somthing else the color sensation varies a lot depending on an image environment, that's the reason why i use a black frame around mines, the greenish background of DA kills images contrast unless they are very dark or light
try in your gallery folders to use a dark gray background you'll see your images will not look the same as in the gallery homepage... :)

Converting the picture into sRGB doesn't solve the problem. It's interesting because flickr and 500px seem to handle colors well...my sceen is actually calibrated so I hate colorchanges, I will try to use the export for web in photoshop or a sceenshot..:)

export for web didn't solve all the problems for me either... actually, the only way i found out is to use a frame
500px and flickr are on a white background (actually, light gray for 500px, #f4f4f4 exactly), that's why colors are not impacted by their environment
on 500px sometimes, very dark and warm images seem to loose some impact on the grayish background, they look suddenly better when clicking on the picture what isolate it on a... dark gray background :) it's not just me but too bad for us, simple color theory i'm sure you know even better than i do looking at your so painting like photos :D
